Anatolie Țurcan is a judge at the Supreme Court of Justice and a judicial candidate for the position of member in the Superior Council of Magistracy (SCM). The magistrate was heard by the members of the Pre-Vetting Commission, which evaluates the integrity of the candidates for membership in the self-administration bodies of judges and prosecutors.
The hearings take place in open session, according to a predetermined calendar. Civil society, media representatives and the general public can participate, by notifying in advance the Commission’s Secretariat at press@vettingmd.com.
Following the evaluation procedure, the Commission issues a substantiated decision regarding whether the candidate passed or failed the evaluation.
