The Independent Evaluation Commission for assessing the integrity of candidates for the position of member in the self-administration bodies of judges and prosecutors (Pre-Vetting Commission) announces the first round of hearings of candidates for membership in the Superior Council of Prosecutors (SCP), which will start on April 21st, 2023, and run until April 28th, 2023.

The hearings will be held in the premises of the National Institute of Justice, room 108 (Alexandru Ion Cuza) (M. Kogălniceanu street corner with Serghei Lazo street 1). Civil society, media representatives and the general public can participate by notifying the Commission Secretariat in advance at press@vettingmd.com.
Note: Filming, live streaming, as well as taking pictures during the entire sessions is prohibited. The Secretariat of the Commission will provide interested journalists with photos during the hearings, and the recordings of the hearings will be placed on the website of the Commission www.vetting.md in the section Transparency -> Hearings and the YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@comisia.prevetting within 24 hours after the end of the hearings.
