Judges Stanislav Sorbalo and Natalia Clevadî accepted the publication of the Pre-Vetting Commission’s decisions

Two other judges, candidates for positions in the SCM, accepted the publication of the Pre-Vetting Commission’s decisions on their non-promotion of the evaluation. Stanislav Sorbalo, judge at the Balti Court, Head Office, ran for membership of the SCM and the Disciplinary Board of Judges and was heard by the Commission, while Natalia Clevadî, candidate for the SCM, requested to be evaluated without participating in the public interview.

According to the reasoned decisions, the Commission concluded that the candidates do not meet the integrity criteria as serious doubts have been found.

The Commission’s decisions may be appealed to the Supreme Court of Justice within 5 days of receipt, without prior procedure, according to art. 14 para. (1) and (2) of Law No. 26/2022.
