Six more judicial candidates for position of member in the SCM will be heard by the Pre-Vetting Commission between November 30 – December 2, 2022

The Pre-Vetting Commission announces the schedule of public hearings for the period November 30 – December 2, 2022 and invites representatives of the mass media, civil society, and the general public to participate, by prior e-mail notification of the Commission Secretariat at press@vettingmd.com. The hearings take place in the context of the financial and ethical evaluation of the integrity of candidates for the position of member in the self-administration bodies of judges and prosecutors, in accordance with Law no. 26/2022.

Therefore, six judicial candidates for position of member in the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) were invited to the interview, as follows:

The hearings will be held in the premises of the National Institute of Justice, room 108 (Alexandru Ion Cuza) (M. Kogălniceanu street corner with Serghei Lazo street 1), and the list of participants will be established according to the sequence of notifications received by the Secretariat. Only people registered in advance will have access to the room where the interviews will take place.

Note: Filming, live streaming, as well as taking pictures during the entire sessions is prohibited. The Secretariat of the Commission will provide interested journalists with photos during the hearings, and the recordings of the hearings will be placed on the website of the Commission www.vetting.md in the section Transparency -> Hearings and the YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@comisia.prevetting within 24 hours after the end of the hearings.
