Vasile Plevan, acting deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office and candidate for the position of member in the Superior Council of Prosecutors (SCP), was heard by the members of the Pre-Vetting Commission in the process of financial and ethical integrity evaluation of the candidates for the position of member in the self-administration bodies of judges and prosecutors, according to Law no. 26/2022.
The last part of the hearing was held in closed session and is not open to the public, whereas a matter that could harm the privacy of the individuals involved was examined.
Following the evaluation procedure, the Commission issues a decision regarding the promotion or failure to promote the evaluation.
