Dumitru Obadă, candidate for the position of member in the Superior Council of Prosecutors (SCP), was heard by the members of the Pre-Vetting Commission in the process of financial and ethical integrity evaluation of the candidates for the position of member in the self-administration bodies of judges and prosecutors, according to Law no. 26/2022. The evaluation covers a period of 15 years.
Dumitru Obada currently holds the position of Government Agent of the Republic of Moldova at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), but maintains his status as a prosecutor and is entitled to run for a seat on the SCP.
Following the evaluation procedure, the Commission issues a decision regarding the promotion or failure to promote the evaluation.
