The declaration of assets and personal interests form has been sent to the first group of candidates to be evaluated

The “Pre-Vetting Commission” has sent today, 8 July 2022, the template of the 5-year assets and personal interests’ declaration (declaration) as per art. 9 para. 2 Law No. 26/2022 to the first group of candidates to be evaluated, namely the candidates for the position of members of the Superior Council of Magistracy among judges.

Candidates from this group shall complete and return by email the declaration, as well as any other annexes as appropriate, by midnight on July 2022.

The template of the declaration includes both the information on assets and personal interests and the list of close persons in the judiciary, prosecution and public service (the template declaration in Romanian is available https://bit.ly/3asDf6b). The Commission also sent the candidates two samples, filled in with fictitious data: a sample of the 5-year declaration filled in with fictitious data (available in Romanian https://bit.ly/3RedWW5) and a sample of the annual assets and personal interests’ declaration as per Annex I of Law No. 133/2016, provided for in Section 8 of the 5-year declaration, filled in with fictitious data (available in Romanian https://bit.ly/3ImtdA9).
